Crime increasing in Denver: What's the latest in the trend? - Mar '23



The number of crime incidents in Denver, CO saw an overall increase last month, after a previous decrease, according to data from CrimeoMeter. Incidents increased to 6,200 for Mar-2023 up from 5,996 for Feb-2023 (+3.4% change).


Among the types of offenses that saw an uptick last month, reports of Simple Assault went from 230 to 296 incidents (+28.7% change). Incidents of Drug/Narcotic Violations rose from 193 to 244 (+26.4% change). Aggravated Assault went up from 164 to 202 incidents (+23.2% change).
